CHILDREN OF THE SUN
Sleeve design by Luke InsectAfter the hard to find "Volume One EP" & "Volume Two EP", The Time & Space Machine issues on Tirk Recordings a 7 inch single (out July 6th) plus an album expected for 2009. Created by Richard Norris, who paired with Erol Alkan for Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, this project is a psychedelic jam, blending kraut rock, space sounds and contemporary punchy beats. My friends... have a good trip!
Peace.

WEEK END IN OOSTENDE
Mid 70s, ten years before the legendary Boccaccio club in Gent, Belgian Youth used to shake and dance at the Popcorn, The Fever, The Shampoo or the Groove in Oostende. These were the most famous temples of Soul Music.Deejays played, imported, or pressed Soul, Jazz, Exotica, Latin and Rocksteady vinyls to create a unique and typical phenomenon named "Popcorn" refered to the "so so Belgian" Popcorn club in Vrasene.
Parties were insane and hipsters "bop souled" and "soulswinged" (the Popcorn Dances) over dancefloors among classics songs from The Impressions, Ramsey Lewis or Prince Buster.
Feel the vibes. Do the Popcorn :
Hustlers - Boston Monkey
Sam Fletcher - I'd Think It All Over
Los Aragon - Zoological Negro
The T-Bones - Rail Vette
